I have installed VS 2010 Professional and VS 2012 Professional, both academic versions on Windows 8 (new install). I’m having a problem with SQL Express on VS 2010. It tells me there is conflicts between SQL express 2008 and SQL express R2. I am assuming VS 2012 uses the R2 version because I can make a DB with it. How can I fix this problem?
I don’t know much about this kind of stuff and have trouble finding the answers. I don’t know much about VS, either. But I want to try and learn but can’t ever seem to make VS work correctly so I can learn the programming part. Any help would be appreciated but please KIS.
