Usage of visual studio

Hi friends,

I have successfully installed Visual Studio 2008 on my computer,i ma trying to open a new project it is showing an error message like "The name of a property stored under the registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSBuild\ToolVersions\4.0" has zero length."".So guide to resolve this problem.
