Greetings fellow engineers,
I currently have a problem trying to connect my (*licensed) Visual Studio 2012 Professional to an MVC 3 Web Application using the Remote Debugger that is "suppose" to work. I've followed instructions on MSDN and have installed the Remote Debugger on the remote server running the MVC Application on the IIS 8 Server. I also have another copy of the application on a shared folder just in case I can only connect that way but then again that defeats the whole purpose of remotely debugging if you can't do it on an app running remotely on IIS in the first place. As an engineer, it doesn't matter what we produce without documentation. No one will know how to use what you've made unless you've made a detailed walk-through on how it works and how it doesn't work. I need some screen shots of someone who knows how to setup VS2012 Remote Application Debugging from start to finish with the end result being a connection to a remote server hosting an application on IIS. Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.
