Hi

I have a database with 4 columns (ID, surname, lastname, profilepicture). The profilpicture is the data type "image".

When I link to the image when i insert it, it becomes a long row of numbers, and I think i want it to be the actual path?!?

Then i want to display the pictures in a gridview. When i open a SQLDataSource and press "test query" i can see the pictures, but when i open the wepsite in the web browser it is this broken image-icon!?! Like if the image file is unknown, broken or a "wrong" type of data.

SO, what kind of data type should I use for insert the pictures to the database? (please post the whole "INSERT" statement. And how can I display tha images in gridview?!?

I have tried to insert the gridview and connect. Then convert the "profilepicture" into an item, and then change this to "image". All of the other data is shown, just not the image.

Can someone please help??
