Upgraded from VS2012 to VS2015. Now when loading a solution (with over 60 webforms projects) it fails loading a random number of projects with the error "malformed XML" pointing to file <solution folder>/.vs/config/applicationhost.config
Renaming or deleting this file forces VS to re-create and all projects load on re-load but the error occurs everytime I re-open VS2015. How can I fix this for good?
