importing existing ASP.NET code into Visual Studio Community project

I have existing ASP.NET 2.0  C# operational website code installed on a new Virtual Machine Windows 2012 server.   Path d:web\myBewWebsite1_net

1) can I import this existing code into a new project
2) where can I find tutorials showing how to do this
