Stopping VS2008 from enabling javascript debugging.

Problem: VS 20008 seems to enable javascript debugging regardless of what I have selected in the IE options.

Environment: VS 2008, IE 10, Windows 8

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open IE Options > Advanced tab

2. Check Disable script debugging and Disable script debugging (other)
(Should mean no javascript error prompts right ?)

3. Open VS 2008.

4. Create or open a new web application project (My case happens to be MVC 4 application)

5. Press F5 to run your project and open the default page in IE.

6. Close VS and IE.

7. Go to any other web page that may have javascript errors (Ex. Typing into the google search bar while instant search / autocomplete is active). You'll notice that the javascript error prompts come up, asking if you want to debug.

It's pretty frustrating not being able to continue my regular browsing after working on a VS 2012 web project. It makes me want to use IE only when developing in VS and another browser altogether for normal web browsing.

Any ideas on how to disable this annoying behavior ?
